pared for ticks and mosquitos. Meet on Tilley St. (unsigned,
except for a NO EXIT sign), off West St. in Ludlow, near
Ludlow/Granby line at 7:30 a.m. Parking is on either side of
Tilley St. before the yellow gate.

Worm-eating and Cerulean Warbler. Moderate 1 mile walk.

Bird the hills and valleys of Vermont with a focus on boreal
species. Early morning uphill walk for those who want to try
for Bicknell’s Thrush. Notify leader of your plans at least 15
days in advance for details including overnight accommoda-

8-10 Fri.-Sat. or Sat.-Sun.     Little River Breeding Bird Count
Help monitor the breeding birds in the Little River IBA
(Important Bird Area) in parts of Granville, Blandford, Russell,
and Southwick. 6:00 p.m. first day to 6:00 p.m. next day.
Compilation and pizza party at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. Call
coordinator Seth Kellogg at 569-3335 for details and territory
assignments.

2 or 9 Sat.      Westover Grasslands, Chicopee - Half Day
Upland Sandpiper, Kestrel, Grasshopper Sparrow, Bobolink
and Meadowlark. Registration is required. Leader will need
the name and address of any participants in advance of the
trip. Limited to 20 people - your spot must be reserved by
May 1st to meet requirements set out by WAFB. Meet in the
parking lot of 99 Restaurant on Memorial Drive across from
Mass. Turnpike Exit #5 in Chicopee at 7:00 a.m. Bring water
